Our mission is to build community through opportunities for service to one another, outreach to one another, support for one another, and education for all.
Our programs
We offer a variety of programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our community. From food assistance to educational workshops, we're here to provide the support you need.
Food assistance
Providing referrals to nutritious food options and organizing specific events to give away food boxes with non-perishable items to those residing in our catchment area.
Educational workshops
Offering workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Including QPR and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
Peer Recovery Support Services
Connecting individuals to mentors with lived experience for guidance and support.
Mobile Outreach
Providing naloxone training and distribution, hygiene kits with basic needs items, PRSS services, rapid HIV and HCV testing, and referrals and transportation to treatment options to various locations across the county.
About us
The Lincoln County Community Outreach Program is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the residents of Lincoln County, West Virginia. We provide a range of services and programs to address critical needs and promote community well-being. We believe in meeting people where they are, but we don't leave them there. We were founded in 2017 and became an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2019. Our president and founder, Ryan C. Elkins is a person in long-term recovery that wishes to give back to the community that he initially took so much from.
